Since 2021, Lumigny Safari Reserve has been a member of the Association Française des Parcs Zoologiques. The association’s role is to network French zoological establishments, ensure their representativeness before the supervisory authorities, as well as international organizations, work to promote them to the media and the general public, help ensure compliance with the Ministerial Order of March 25, 2004, notably concerning parks’ commitment to conservation, education, research, and animal welfare, as well as promote the AFdPZ Code of Ethics among its members. It also provides logistical assistance for the rescue of wild animals in distress.
