Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the park (Law of 10/07/1976), for reasons of safety, animal health and hygiene. We do not have kennels on site.

Cycling and scooter use (adults and children) is not allowed in the park.

It is possible to leave and return on the same day. A stamp or wristband will be given at reception.

Microwaves are available at reception, at the Kilimandjaro restaurant and at the Le Magot snack bar (Terre de Singes circuit).

Only the animals in the petting farm can be petted.

Only the animals in the petting farm and lorikeets can be fed, with food provided by the park.

Most of the park’s animals were born in captivity, either with us or in other zoos or breeding centers. Some come from administrative seizures or animals that cannot be reintroduced into the wild.

Feeding follows the natural rhythm of the species:

  • Birds & primates → fed daily
  • Felines → fed 3 to 4 times a week, in accordance with their biological needs.

We do not give live prey to felines, for ethical reasons. However, they may occasionally hunt birds or small animals naturally present in the park’s environment.

No physical interaction is offered with our wild animals (felines, baby animals, etc.). They are only handled if necessary by the animal care team.

The keeping of felines or primates is highly regulated and subject to obtaining a capacity certificate. Illegal possession is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and €50,000 in fines.

The reintroduction of endangered species is one of our missions. However, it is complex for large predators. Our animals play an essential role in raising public awareness and preserving genetic diversity.

The Lumigny Safari Reserve parking lot is closed at night, but the Terre de Singes circuit parking remains accessible. Please note, it has no dedicated infrastructure (waste disposal, water, electricity).
